Introducing the ‘Wildcraft’ Collection – a harmonious fusion of nettle and cotton - making use of natural dyes only,

handwoven by our talented local artisans. In the northern reaches of India, wild nettle thrives abundantly. Its flexible stem fibers are skillfully woven into fabric by local communities of artisans.

Blended seamlessly with the gentle touch of cotton, these fabrics offer a luxurious feel against the skin while maintaining their strength and longevity.

Harvested between November and December, nettle embodies a sustainable textile source, that benefits the local communities and the environment.

With this collection of naturally dyed fabrics, JÜN celebrates natural fibers.

Felted by hand by female artisans with merino wool from the mountains of Kyrgyzstan, every fabric from this collection is unique.

Having spent time in Kyrgyzstan as a multimedia journalist, I’ve met a number of women practising the century-old wet felting technique at their homes.

Ever since, it has been my dream to use this technique to create modern designs and high quality products while creating fair employment opportunities for the artisans.

Our brand name JÜN is an ode to Kyrgyzstan, the country that has a special place in my heart and is also the motherland of my partner, Michel.

JÜN means wool in the Kyrgyz language.

The Erosion collection is truly a celebration of our love for Kyrgyzstan, its people, craftsmanship and traditions.

CAMEL COLLECTION

Crafted by skilled female artisans in Central Asia, our camel collection is truly one-of-a-kind.

In this collection, camel wool intertwines elegantly with silk or cotton, resulting in a unique blend of natural fibres.

From annually shearing the camels to the silk production and weaving of the fabric, every step in the process is performed manually.

The journey commences with the process of silk making, setting the stage for the creation of these exceptional textiles. The use of the camel wool’s authentic, earthy tones define this collection.
